OUR STUDENTS HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED AT...

Instead of dodging the

“what are you gonna do with the rest of your life?”

questions, what if we mapped out an answer that fulfills your soul’s greatest desires?

The Roadmap is here to help draw a line of connection between what you’re passionate about today, and the academic/life plan that will fill your soul. The truth is, the life path that you feel like you “should” take doesn’t help you create a happy, rich life. Plus, with academic excellence becoming the standard, colleges are looking for students who can let their passions, their soul’s true mission, and their desired impact on the world shine through the page.

Hear from Rohan who is now attending Northwestern, even though he didn't believe he could get accepted!

Hear from Isaac, our student who got into his dream college despite obstacles.

Hear from our student, Evie, who is now attending her dream program, Plan II Honors at UT Austin as a Dedman Distinguished Scholar (a merit scholarship worth over $296,000!)

Program Overview

Harvard alumni, researcher, writer, certified executive coach, and visionary behind The Edvisory, Cathleen has helped thousands of students unlock their unique path to success and gain admissions to top-tier colleges, leading with visionary resonance, intuitive clarity, and a gift for transformation.

With a background in English Literature and Creative Writing from USC, and advanced studies across Harvard’s Graduate School of Education, Business School, Law School, Divinity School, and Kennedy School, she has cultivated an interdisciplinary approach to consulting, coaching, and education that merges scholarship, soul, and strategy.

From researching ethics and character in higher education at Harvard to getting certified as an executive coach, Cathleen draws from a rare interdisciplinary foundation—spanning literature, practical theology, psychology, leadership development and business. Her signature approach doesn’t just get students accepted; it gets them seen.

Her work began with a simple insight—no one was asking students the deeper questions. The system was pushing them through applications without ever pausing to consider who they really were.

She created The Edvisory to be what the current system isn’t: personal, imaginative, and transformational. Her team now works with students all over the world—creatives, visionaries, and trailblazers—crafting custom paths to college and graduate school that are as original as they are successful.

Anna Krakus holds a PhD in comparative literature from New York University and a BA in cultural studies from Stockholm University, Sweden, where she also completed two years of law school. She has taught undergraduate and graduate courses at New York University, the University of Southern California, and the University of Copenhagen in Denmark for over a decade helping students with their writing, creativity, and critical thinking skills. She has helped many students pursue graduate education by supporting their applications into PhD programs in the humanities, MA programs in education and administration, and law schools by writing letters for them as well as helping them with application materials. She has published one monograph and multiple academic articles. She is very familiar with the worlds of American and European higher education and loves working with students and big ideas.

Georgia Soares is a Ph.D. candidate in Comparative Literature at Harvard University, with a focus on 20th-century U.S., Brazilian, and French literatures. She holds a master’s in Comparative and International Education from the University of Oslo and a bachelor’s in English from the University of Southern California. At Harvard, she has taught undergraduate and graduate courses on French language and literature and African American Studies. Over the years, Georgia has also tutored high school and college students in support of their application to competitive undergraduate and graduate programs, in the U.S. and abroad.

Sarah graduated summa cum laude from Columbia University in 2014 with a degree in East Asian Languages and Cultures, focusing on Chinese language. She also completed one year of intensive Mandarin language training at Peking University in Beijing before earning her master's degree at the University of Cambridge in Chinese Studies. Sarah worked in Beijing for a leading Chinese e-commerce company and a popular internet media platform before committing herself to education full-time. While working in Beijing, she discovered her passion for education after successfully helping her boss' daughter gain acceptance to her dream university. Sarah works with highly motivated students from all over the world using a tailored approach to ensure cohesive, creative, and comprehensive applications. She is a strong believer in the importance of "fit" and very much enjoys helping each and every student applying to both boarding school and university reach his or her full potential!

Hanna Fahsholtz graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Southern California with a degree in Narrative Studies. She spent a year teaching in Madrid as a Fulbright scholar before working as an adjunct instructor at the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, where she led writing workshops for undergraduate students. Most recently, Hanna was accepted to graduate programs at Harvard and the University of Pennsylvania and will start earning her master’s in UCLA’s Teacher Education Program this fall. She is thrilled to combine her passions for writing and education by empowering students to understand their stories and share them in authentic, compelling applications.

Jessica Gerhardt is a graduate from Reed College in Portland, OR where she received her B.A. in Psychology. When she was a high school student, Jessica was accepted into the OneVoice Scholars Program, which paired her with a one-on-one college prep counselor. Her experience navigating college applications, essay writing, and applying for scholarships and financial aid equipped her well to pay it forward with other students pursuing a college education. During her time at Reed she also interned in their Admission Office which gave her an inside look at what admission counselors look for in prospective students, and she became a skilled interviewer. After graduating from Reed, she pursued a career in music as a singer-songwriter and recording artist in Los Angeles, CA while simultaneously working as a Director of Youth Ministry.
